Our Journey

HQTS was founded in 1987 as a division of the Fujian Inspection and Research Institute FCII with a focus on product quality inspections. In 1995, it became an indepent company providing direct services instead of just subcontracting work for FCII. Since then, HQTS has grown exponentially, establishing over 25 offices globally and significantly expanding its service portfolio.

Key Milestones:

• 1995: Established as Helmsman Quality Technology Services Co., Ltd HQTS.

• 1997: Received CNAS accreditation for ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 standards.

• 2003: Founded a Sino-American joint venture testing lab and expanded into Southeast Asia.

• 2009: HQTS Group Ltd was founded in Hong Kong, marking the beginning of international expansion.

• 2011 - 2013: Established companies in Japan Yoshida Sorting Inspection and opened inspection facilities in China, Quanzhou, and Cambodia.
