Vision Mission

Our Vision: Adding years to healthy life.

Our Mission: To deliver high-quality, affordable healthcare that is simple and caring through science, love, and wisdom.

Care Philosophy

We believe our care should be comprehensive and focused on patients as individuals. Our philosophy embodies this belief by emphasizing holistic care that addresses not only illness but also the needs, aspirations, and personal aspects of every patient.

Leadership Community Partnership

Underpinning our mission is a dedicated team of leaders who guide us in striving for excellence. We are more than just healthcare providers; we collaborate with patients, their families, caregivers, and community partners to foster an ecosystem that supports and empowers health from all angles.

Healing Environment

KTPH's design concept reflects the belief that a hospital in a garden can contribute significantly to patient recovery. Our well-planned spaces allow for ample natural light, fresh r circulation, and comfortable communal areas where patients can move about freely and connect with one another.

We are proud of our eco-frily buildings equipped with sustnable features such as rooftop gardens and solar panels that enhance the healing experience while reducing environmental impact. These efforts have been recognized through various awards and accolades for creating a restorative environment.

History Milestones

The inception of KTPH began in 2001 when the Singaporean government announced plans to establish a new general hospital in response to growing population needs in northern Singapore. In 2003, then Health Minister Mr. Khaw Boon Wan confirmed that the hospital would be located in Yishun and challenged the team from Alexandra Hospital to lead its development.

A generous donation of $125 million by the late hotelier and banker Mr. Khoo Teck Puat established a foundation for KTPH's construction and care for financially disadvantaged patients in need, leading to its naming honor. The hospital was officially opened on November 15, 2010.
