For Students:

Mntn cleanliness standards in your roo ensure safety, health compliance, and ease of evacuation. Wash dishes promptly after meals; refrn from using kitchen or bathroom sinks for washing.

Mntn a clean kitchen environment by wiping down surfaces including stove, counter, exhaust hood, microwaves, and tables. Keep burner plates free of debris.

Regularly inspect fridge contents and discard expired food to prevent spoilage and odors. Clean up spills and crumbs within the fridge promptly.

Store all perishable items in proper contners that are sealed tightly. Dispose of waste responsibly by not placing liquids or heavy objects into trash bins.

Ensure that all trash is placed efficiently into receptacles, avoiding overfilling them and utilizing multiple cans if avlable 2-3 per community. The housekeeping team will manage the emptying process dly from Monday to Saturday.

For Housekeepers:

Dly Routine:

Check bathroom supplies in communal areas for refill needs.

Clear kitchen and lounge garbage bins dly Monday through Saturday.

Recycle as needed by rinsing contners without lids.

Mop hallways, lounges, playrooms, computer rooms twice a week and kitchen areas weekly.

Vacuum hallways and strs once or twice a week based on the condition of your space. Dust window casings as necessary.

Weekly Activities:

Dust surfaces in communal spaces after clearing them of personal items. This includes walls, strwells, window casings when needed.

Mop strwell floors weekly to mntn cleanliness and ensure safety.

Wipe down washer-dryer units once a week.

Clean oven surfaces weekly if accessible; deep clean during semester breaks J-Term and summer.

Mop strwell floors every other week for thorough cleaning mntenance.

Special Tasks:

Upon student departure, thoroughly clean the room, including washing windows, curtns, mattress pads, shower curtns, wiping walls and furniture down, and waxing floor surfaces as time allows. This task is performed provided that there are no resident belongings blocking access to these areas.
